Contract growing of broilers with local producers able to adopt the company's quality standards and procedures, broadens the company's participation in the development of the poultry farming sector.

Strict bio-security and husbandry procedures added to the company's ISO 9002 and HACCP compliant quality systems, have ensured, over the years, a reliable supply of savoury poultry products, making the company's Chantecler brand a household name.

The company's close relationship with Hubbard /  ISA and its accumulated technical know-how have maintained the company’s position as market leader.

In addition, Food & Allied Industries Ltd. operates the “Maison du Petit Aviculteur” for the provision of day-old layers and broilers chicks and an advisory service to small and medium egg and poultry producers.

Food & Allied Industries Ltd. exports day-old Hubbard broiler parent stock chicks to the Eastern African region and provides technical support to its customers through regular visits. Its regional interest has been consolidated through the setting up of Avitech SARL in Madagascar to develop and manage its poultry operations, working with local growers.
