The expansion of the company’s processing plant and Hazard Analysis at Critical Control Points (HACCP) Certification have strengthened the position of Food & Allied Industries Ltd. as the country’s largest integrated poultry concern.
Launched in 1966, Food & Allied Industries Ltd. marks the birth of the Food & Allied Group. Today, it covers all operations, from grand-parent stock through breeding, hatching, broiler rearing and finally processing, all under strict quality standards.
Contract growing of broilers with local producers able to adopt the company's quality standards and procedures, broadens the company's participation in the development of the poultry farming sector.
Strict bio-security and husbandry procedures added to the company's ISO 9002 and HACCP compliant quality systems, have ensured, over the years, a reliable supply of savoury poultry products, making the company's Chantecler brand a household name.
The company's close relationship with Hubbard / ISA and its accumulated technical know-how have maintained the company’s position as market leader.
In addition, Food & Allied Industries Ltd. operates the “Maison du Petit Aviculteur” for the provision of day-old layers and broilers chicks and an advisory service to small and medium egg and poultry producers.
The company’s tradition of community involvement extends to sponsoring social, cultural and sports activities, promoting a caring approach to the environment and sustaining business ethics at large, while internally providing a work atmosphere conducive to employee satisfaction and development.
