Avipro Co Ltd marks the birth of the Food & Allied group in 1966. When it starts its operations, the country is heading towards
independence and wants to stand on its own feet. A pioneer in the field of poultry production, the company seeks to help reduce
the volume of imports in poultry feed through local production.
Avipro Co Ltd has never compromised its principles. Quality is at the very heart of its activities through strict hygiene-code
standards at all production stages. The permanent support of its veterinary services, the isolation of its farms in the countryside,
ensuring a better control of bio-security and a slaughterhouse that operates according to international standards are all factors
that guarantee to consumers a tasty and safe product.
Today, Avipro Co Ltd covers all operations, from grand-parent stock through breeding, hatching, broiler rearing and finally
processing, all under strict quality standards.
Through "La Maison du Petit Aviculteur", breeders are provided with technical assistance and chicks. In this context, it
offers production partnerships to breeders who are ready to maintain the strict technical constraints of industrial quality
breeding.
Agrifarms, another subsidiary, specialises in the breeding of guinea fowls and ducks.
