The Food & Allied Group demonstrates a great respect for the environment.

Preserving the environment and managing issues such as waste management are priorities for all companies of the Group. For example, Tropical Paradise Company Ltd., which runs the Labourdonnais Waterfront Hotel and Le Suffren Hotel & Marina, has won major awards such as Green Globe Certification for its performance in that area.

Almost all companies of the group have already obtained the ISO 14001 certification while the certification for others is underway.

The group also partners with the Mauritius Wildlife Foundation, the sole local NGO dedicated to the preservation of the environment and endangered species. Over the years, the Mauritius Wildlife Foundation has been able to save species such as the Pink Pigeon or the kestrel that have been gradually reintegrated in the nature.
