Pioneer in its industry since 1977, LFL was the first Mauritian enterprise to undertake production of animal feed with the technical assistance of Epol South Africa and Evialis France.
30 years of experience, an utmost level of expertise and state-of-the-art technological investments have established LFL as a major feed provider in the Indian Ocean and African region.
With a potential annual production of 150,000 Tons of feed for agriculture and aquaculture, LFL has diversified and developed a range of 150 different top quality feeds by operating through specialised production sites:
• LFL Pailles (Mauritius) has specialized automated poultry and ruminant lines supplying 90,000 MT of complete feed for the local and regional market.
• LFL Aqua & Extrusion Division Riche-Terre (Mauritius), inaugurated in January 2007, produces feed for aquaculture (fish & prawn) and extruded feed for pet animals
and primates.
• LFL Madagascar, with 3 rural plants in Andakana, Diego Suarez and Majunga, also provides poultry feed as a proximity supplier.
To secure its clearing and storage of raw materials,
LFL acquired
Agrobulk Ltd in 1999. This company handles more than 150,000 MT of bulk commodities annually.

LFL is today geared to face the intricacies and opportunities of an evolving market.
A team of nutrition experts ensures that the feed produced are optimal nutritional solutions for the performance of the different animals, at different stages of their life cycle.
