A few years after the inception of Food & allied Industries Co Ltd, access to animal feed is sometimes difficult.
In the 70s, there is no firm guarantee that goods will always arrive in time. The opening of Livestock Feed Ltd (LFL)
in 1977 puts an end to the uncertainties with the local production of animal feed.
As the leader on the market today, it offers a wide array of animal products. With the technical support of its
partners Sanders and In Vivo and state-of-the art technologies in the sector , LFL provides specially formulated
food to match the nutritive needs of each species and respond to the expectations of each client.
It has three production units. The first in Pailles is dedicated to food for poultry and cattle feed. In Riche-Terre,
LFL Aqua produces feed for prawns and extrudes for primates, fishes and dogs. LFL is also present in Madagascar where
it plays a strategic role of supplier close for local breeders.
With its yearly production of 150,000 tons of animal feed and the advisory services it offers to clients, LFL wants to
be the key partner in the development of breeding at both local and regional levels.
