Since its very inception, the Food & Allied group works closely with countries of the region. Many commercial partnerships have indeed been set up, especially for breeding products, in Mozambique, Uganda, Tanzania or Kenya.
At the same time, the group has partnered with the Mauritius Freeport Development, thus helping Port-Louis to position itself as a regional platform for international trade.
Aware of its responsibility towards its island neighbours and of the potential of the African market, the Food and Allied group has launched its regional development since 1993.

Investments
The group is represented in Mozambique by Companhia Industrial da Matola (CIM), a consortium involved in flour, wheat meal, pasta and biscuit production.
