THE RAVENALA, OUR SYMBOL
Nature, Source of inspiration
The Ravenala, or Traveller’s tree, is endemic to the Indian Ocean region. It owes its name to its intertwining leaves, which enable it to collect rainwater, thus providing the traveler with shelter as well as the means to quench his thirst.
This tree sympolises the image and values of the Food & Allied Group.
A sturdy trunk, representing the Group’s poultry farming operations, harmoniously interlaced with the leaves, which embody the diversification of the Group’s services; water, thrist-quenching source of life, exemplifying the professionalism, integrity and honesty that are the Group’s intrinsic values. |
